I’m thrilled she’ll be sold in a pack with two more popular characters so Hasbro doesn’t have to fear her warming retail pegs. Probably the last recognizable of the Life Foundation symbiotes is Agony, but her pink/magenta color scheme makes her a favorite of mine. This just may be my favorite Hasbro Venom portrait ever. It might be too stylized for some fans, but I really, really dig the tongue-out head on this ML Venom body. With solo-packed figures retailing for $25 these days, $78 for 3 figures including a deluxe-sized one feels fair.Ī lot of fans have been wishing for a comic book style Venom Legends figure on the Omega Red body (with shoulder holes plugged with tendrils!) for quite a while now, so even the obligatory action figure of Venom himself in this set is a highly demanded one. The 3-Pack is carrying a hefty $78 price-tag, but I think Hasbro can pull that off without catching too much shade from collectors in this instance because of the hefty, Build-A-Figure sized body used for Riot. And those two highly-anticipated figures will be coming as part of a hopefully easy-to-obtain 3-pack with a refreshed version of Marvel Legends Venom. It’s always gratifying to see long-term plans come to a satisfying conclusion, and that’s just what Hasbro has accomplished with the five symbiotes created by the Life Foundation in 1993’s Venom: Lethal Protector limited series!Īfter giving us Lasher and Scream figures in 2018 and adding Phage in 2020, Hasbro revealed at SDCC 2022 that they’re finally completing the “team” with Agony and Riot.
